Kids Activity – Make A Mini Worm Farm With Live Worms

Hands-On Worm Farming & Discovery Activity for Schools, Early Learning, Holiday/OSHC, Festivals & Events

Make a Mini Worm Farm To Take Home – With REAL LIVE WORMS!

What Children Do in This Activity:

The “Dig & Discover Your Own Live Worms” Experience

Join commercial worm farmer Brian “The Worm Man” Donaldson for a hands-on environmental learning experience where children explore worms, waste reduction, and nature systems in a fun and memorable way.

In this activity, children build their own mini worm farm using a repurposed 2-litre milk bottle and other supplied materials. Each child takes their creation home as a living learning project.

Children also take part in a “Dig & Discover” worm experience, where they investigate active worm farm material and discover live worms in a safe, guided environment.

Each child also receives a name tag on their bottle, with a download link instead of printed instructions, helping reduce paper waste while supporting ongoing learning at home.
