Shipping Method:
The worms are shipped via Australia Post Expresspost Satchel, whether you are in an Expresspost Postcode or not.
There is a signature on delivery/tracking feature. This allows me to prove that I shipped them and that you received them; and to track where they are if they get lost or delayed.
Postage & Handling Costs:
The postage is by Australia Post Expresspost. In the SHOP the postage is NOT INCLUDED in the cost of the worms you choose. It is added at the checkout. A list of the shipping charges is on each “product” page.
Shipping Days & Order Cutoff:
Unless arranged with me otherwise:
The worms will ship out on the next Monday morning after the order is received.
The order cutoff time each week is Sunday 6 pm.
Unless prior arrangement (and the ASAP Shipping Fee Upgrade paid-for) has been made with me to “RUSH” your order (ASAP shipping removes live shipping guarantee*.)
I can take no responsibility for WHEN Auspost delivers your parcel.

ASAP Shipping Fee Upgrade:
Conditions:
Orders for ASAP Shipping must be received by mid day (AEST) to ship them on the following business day.
Normally, the cut off for orders to ship Monday is 6pm Sunday, but if I can ship them Monday, I will do so. I always let you know in an email, or if received late or ASAP is requested, I will confirm by phone call or text. If you have any doubt about when I will ship them please call or text me.
If, after paying for ASAP Shipping, for some reason I cannot ship them next business day, I will offer to refund the fee, or top up your order with more worms.
Shipping ASAP removes the live shipping guarantee if the worms do not arrive by the last weekday of the week they are sent in. But please always contact me if you are not happy, I will see what I can do.
If ASAP shipping is selected on the checkout page and this upgrade is not purchased, worms will be shipped on the Regular Shipping day.
Regular Shipping Day:
Worms are normally shipped on a Monday to give them the best chance of getting to you without being stuck in the post all weekend.
This is always best, but especially when the weather is hot.
If the Monday is a public holiday, worms are shipped on Tuesday.
If more than one weekday is a public holiday, I will contact you to ask when you want them sent.
Shipping ASAP removes the live shipping guarantee if the worms do not arrive by the last weekday of the week they are sent in. But please always contact me if you are not happy, I will see what I can do.
Other Conditions Of Sale:
- Please note that I do not teach people how to grow bait (African and European Night Crawlers) – I sell it. If you choose to try to breed them that’s up to you. I supply bait sized worms. I do not supply small, “bed run” worms.
I compare it like this – you wouldn’t go to a restaurant and ask the chef to teach you to cook the dish instead of buying a meal from the restaurant. - I freely teach how to grow composting worms for your own use at home.
- I do not freely teach commercial worm farming or composting methods.
- There are no refunds for changing your mind, or your circumstances changing (eg a trip being cancelled).
At your option I will hold your order until next time that you want to organise worms – or I can issue a coupon code for the worms, for you to gift them to a friend.

Customer Requests Worms Sent On A Day Other Than A Monday – known as “ASAP Shipping” in the checkout page:
The Guarantee is EXCLUDED where the customer requests the worms be sent on any day other than a Monday, where the worms do not arrive by Friday of the same week. This condition is in force, regardless of where the customer has asked for this, including but not limited to: The “Order Notes” section of the checkout; the “drop down box” asking for a choice of signature or authority to leave; an email exchange; or a text message.
If Brian is told this verbally, a message will be sent by another method such as but not limited to email or text, confirming the customer wants this and accepts responsibility and understands the guarantee will be void. If a response to Brian’s question is not received prior to the shipping time the parcel will be shipped WITH signature on delivery.
Western Australia / Northern Territory : (added to this list 11/12/17)
I cannot mail worms to these states at all due to quarantine restrictions.
Inspection fees range from approx $130-$200 and they don’t actually quote me a figure I can charge you before hand.
You may be able to get me to ship to a friend out of state where you can pick them up in person and bring them through quarantine yourself.
You are responsible in this instance for investigating the quarantine terms and conditions and agree to take all responsibility for your actions.
