Wheelie Bin – Continuous Flow Through Worm Farm

A CFT is an amazing system.  (CFT stands for Continuous Flow Through. Some people call them a Flow Through Reactor.)

It’s scientifically proven that a CFT’s population is able to be twice that of a normal bin/batch system of the same surface area.

When you compare a Wheelie Bin CFT to a “normal black rectangular stacking bin sold in Australia”, a CFT wheelie bin can hold up to 4 times the worms. This means they eat 4 times the waste and create 4 times the castings !!!!

I have found that a Wheelie Bin CFT is SO MUCH EASIER than the stacking type of farm for people to run successfully.

On top of that, it is easy to harvest as you don’t have to separate worms from the VC. You get very few to no worms in the CFT harvest if managed correctly.

Another advantage is that most eggs should have hatched by the time you harvest too. So you aren’t losing any of your worms or cocoons when you harvest.
