Purpose Of Workshops: The purpose of the Workshop, “Worm Farming & Composting Workshop,” is to teach people how to compost and keep worms at home; for the purpose of reducing their waste going to landfill and or create a valuable soil amendment for use on their gardens. It is NOT to learn how to raise bait. It is NOT to learn how to compost or raise worms on a commercial or agricultural scale. It IS a great way to learn about the basics, if you want to go bigger. Alternate workshops may be offered in future for subjects such as commercial/agricultural scale worm composting; and Aerated Tea production. Ask me if this interests you.
Behaviour: You are solely responsible for the behavior of yourself and those that you bring with you.
If you or your guest/s cause disruption to the class, you may be asked to leave.
If that happens, you will not receive a refund for your training.
You will receive the worm component of your ticket, if applicable and the full written instructions.
Food and drinks. These may not be brought into the training venue.
We supply cold fresh water. You may bring a water bottle, but I would ask that it only holds water.
If anything is spilled on the carpet, a cleaning fee may be charged and you will be liable for that.
All payments are final: All payments made are final. No refunds. If you satisfy the cancellation clause below, you may re-book (transfer) the workshop for a later date.
Cancellations by students: – TBC – I have to confirm what the ticket platform, Eventbrite, has in place for this.
At this point transfers are not possible.
If transfers ARE possible in future:
If you give less than 7 days notice of the wish to transfer the booking, you will not receive a refund and will not be able to transfer.
Any request to transfer or cancel must be in writing to me, either by text to 0419419572 or by email to [email protected].
You must state the name the ticket was booked under and the ticket identifying details.
Cancellations By Brian: If for some reason that Brian has to postpone the workshop, at least 7 days notice will be given to you if at all possible.
You may not cancel the booking, you have to agree to re-book the workshop on another available date.
In this case, if you have paid for a ticket including worms, you may collect the worm component and written materials from our house at Collingwood Park and re-book another workshop date, as a worm-less ticket.
A possible reason to have to cancel is if students cancel or postpone their booking. I need 3 students to run the workshop.
Ticket Sales: Eventbrite is the platform that the workshop tickets will be sold through. They are a well known ticketing platform, selling millions of tickets per year. They have secure payment facilities.
GST / Prices: Prices listed on this website INCLUDE GST.
