( The bins were rejected for a slight cosmetic defect – diverted from the waste stream to make you a worm farm !! )
Features:
- Three large vents – one in each side, at the top – and one on the front, in the compost column.
- Tried & Tested Design – I’ve run mine for over 5 years. The only change is I made the side vents bigger & added the front/compost column vent.

- Vents moved to lid – for simpler design and increased air flow, the vents are now only in the lid
- A4 Laminated Worm Food To Avoid poster is now placed on the front of the bin and we don’t put on the waste hierarchy signage

Ø CFT (Continuous Flow Through) holds TWICE the population of a bin/batch system, per the surface area.
Ø The CFT then PROCESSES more food & then has more harvested VC.
Ø In the table below, you can see that the Wheelie Bin CFT has almost 4 times the population of a common stacking farm. This means it consumes four times the waste and produces four times the harvest !
Some Things To Note About A CFT:
Ø CFT’s do not generate leachate. A better liquid option is aerated or non-aerated castings tea. See: https://thewormman.com.au/aerated-castings-tea/.

Ø CFT’s are a more technical bin then a common stacking bin. They may take some patience and a little getting used to.
