european-night-crawlers

Hi I have my own worm farm  but I’m interested in purchasing some European night crawlers for fishing I’m not sure how to look after them if not all used at once. I have an extra worm farm I’m not using can I put them in it and is there a special way to set it up. or should I just put them in soil in a large planter. thanks Kay.

Hi Kay
Unfortunately breeding either of the 2 fishing species, african or european night crawlers, in a small farm is very hard.
If you want to buy a pack of bait worms from me ($25-$35) and give it a go, thats ok – but I don’t teach how to grow bait worms, as I sell them…..
I liken it to asking a restaurant to teach you how to cook their meals so you don’t have to come back and buy their food anymore.

I can give you a few tips – they are composting worms and do not live in soil.
Here’s an article I wrote for more info:

Thanks for asking your question
